Diversified Mining Services (DMS) was established in 2007 as part of a strategy to build a new services company for the Australian mining industry.

As a first step, DMS has secured agreements to acquire a number of well established operating businesses in the mining-services sector which have strong management and solid growth prospects. All of the companies have a dominant market position within their specialist areas and provide a substantial competitive advantage to underpin further growth.

DMS is a diversified mining services company, supporting the steady development of the Australian mining industry to meet long-term growth in the worldwide demand for commodities.

This growth has led to increased activity in the mining industry including the expansion of existing mines, the development of new mines and the fast-tracking of major infrastructure projects.

These projects need a broad range of mining services to support them. The existing mining services industry is poorly placed to take advantage of the opportunity because it is highly fragmented and dominated by small to medium-sized businesses, which lack the financial and management resources to provide global mining houses with the level of service they require.

DMS provides a comprehensive service offering and is a preferred supplier to most major mining, resources and energy companies. DMS services the mining industry and other associated industries with over 500 staff across our three divisions; DMS Underground, DMS Engineering, DMS Maintenance. These divisions will build upon the existing customer base and expertise of the foundation companies acquired by DMS.
