DMS Underground is a leading provider of underground mining services including operations support, maintenance and specialised manufacturing with facilities in Mackay, Gladstone, Newcastle and Wollongong. In addition the company has remote on-site operations in the major coal-producing regions of Australia including the Bowen Basin and the Hunter Valley. With a wide cross section of customers in Australia and internationally including mining companies, mineral processing, prime contractors and OEMs.
The division provides a range of services including:
On-Site Contracting
- Ventilation - design, fabricate and install every form of ventilation device required from stoppings, seals to regulators, machine doors, man doors and overcasts
- Outbye Services - specialists in all forms of outbye services – roadwork's, pumping, conveyor maintenance, service extension/retractions
- Gas Drainage - fabricate and install methane gas drainage equipment for surface and underground applications to compliment various site gas drainage programs
- Secondary Support - design, manufacture & utilize underground, purpose built secondary support drill rigs that currently out-perform any other competitive machines available in the marketplace
- We have access to a comprehensive and well maintained fleet of mining equipment from underground loaders and man transporters to graders
